At least six states across the west have winter weather advisories today, areas surrounding Billings, Montana could get up to 10 inches of snow in the next 24 hours! I’ve never been to Jackson Hole, Wyoming… maybe this is the year to plan the trip!

Meanwhile, the deep South is getting ready for the possibility of more flash flooding. Check out the radar image above, it shows the heavy downpours near Corpus Christi Texas, moving toward Houston.  Taking a look at the Houston forecast, right now they are seeing light rain, but a line of heavier showers is headed toward the metro area. It’s going to be a messy Saturday in Houston.

A line of heavy rain is now also headed toward Lafayette, Louisiana. For the latest television weather forecast in your area, go to my links on the right hand side of the page. You can find any TV station across the United States by clicking GET YOUR LOCAL TV FORECAST! Besides the rain and snow, there is a stark temperature contrast between the northern and southern United States.

In states like Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Northern Nevada, Oregon and Northern California, the high temperatures today is between 30 and 40 degrees! Because of a warm front and the associated warm air, the Gulf South is expecting upper 80s!

Have a great Sunday. Pay attention to your local TV weather warnings.
